Arrival and accommodation

by plane

Munich is the busiest airport. Memmingen is closer, but is flown to less frequently.

by train

from Munich: Kaufbeuren train station is about 1.5 hours from Munich airport. At the airport, please choose the S-Bahn S8 or S1 to Munich main station and then continue with the regional train towards Füssen.

from Memmingen: please choose the train direction Munich. In Buchloe, change to the train in the direction of Füssen, which then stops in Kaufbeuren.

Rental car / Taxi

All well-known car rental companies are available at both airports (Sixt, Avis, Eurocar, Budget etc.).

Cabs are always available at the Kaufbeuren train station.

Parking

For the seminar please use the parking spaces of the DAV area on the other side of the street opposite the climbing tower.

For the SophiaHealth Institute in the city center Hafenmarkt 12: please park in the Buron-Center (V-Markt, address: Josef-Landes-Strasse 38, 87600 Kaufbeuren) or in the parking garage at the Kunsthaus (address: Alte Weberei 5, 87600 Kaufbeuren).

There are handicapped parking spaces in front of our building if you have an appropriate pass in your car. Parking tickets for 90 minutes each can be purchased at the parking machine.
